Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for student, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I am a passionate elementary school music educator who can "technically" play most instruments but trumpet was first in my heart when started playing it in 4th grade! I continued with it growing up and all the way through college where I graduated with a bachelor of science in music education K-12. After graduating from college I joined the Peace Corps. I spent 2 years in Tehran, Iran playing in the Tehran Symphony Orchestra. I returned to the U.S. and went back to school to get my Masters degree. I worked as a music teacher in the Bronx, N.Y. for several years. After that I worked at an electronic music studio in Hawthorne, N.Y.
