My love of teaching begins years ago from being a beginner student and helping my peers understand their instruments. In high school I was a section leader in marching and concert band for two years, leading sectional rehearsals and helping students one-on-one. Many of my peers started coming to me for costructive criticism and I would help them in a private lessons setting. I taught Elem./Secondary Music for 30 years in IA and CO. As of this writing, I have been teaching private piano lessons for 35 years. I also served as Colorado (CMEA) State Chair of Elem. General Music and directed award-winning children's choirs, even piloting and hosting various regional honor choral music festivals along the way. I have performed all over the country, and my musical arrangements, compositions, and marching drill design have been performed all over the world.
