For beginners I normally use Talking Trumpet as a primary flow exercises book and Edwards-Hovey Method for Cornet or Trumpet to start the practice in articulations and fingerings in a comfortable pitch. In according with the improvement I add or change practice books. To intermediary level I certainly will apply Arban`s Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet and some alternatives to flow exercises and technical studies. I have been in and around music theory, performance and composition within the past 20 years and feel that my experiences in these areas well help not only to motivate others but to instill a passion to excel on their instrument.
