I use Rubank methoh books for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. I will introduce material from the Arbans method when students have reached a desired level. In addition, I'll find material in the genre that is exciting to the student but also develops their skills and techniques on the instrument. I create individual lessons and goals for each student based what needs to be improved, and what inspires them to practice and get better I am a strong believer in proper techniques, and that they can be obtained simulataneously while studying many genres of music. With guitar and piano there are several routes one could choose for performance, and each one has different teaching fundamentals.
