My method of teaching is to start students with a strong foundation of buzzing and making characteristic sounds on the horn. This includes buzzing with and without the mouthpiece. Also, my students must be able to read music. Reading music is very important to me, having the students be musically literate with a decent tone will take a student far in their musical career. I am currently in the Doctoral program at University of Arizona. I received Artist Diploma at Texas Christian University studying under Dr. David Begnoche. Also, received my Masters degree from Cleveland State University studying with Shachar Israel, Assistant Principal Trombone of the Cleveland Orchestra, and hold Bachelor degrees from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and Kasetsart University, where my teachers were Shannon Pittaway and Teerapol Submool. I have a lifelong passion for music, with my passion being in drumming and percussion but having a great deal of experience in trombone and a strong knowledge of guitar as well.  I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008 with Honors in Music.  I have just recently traveled to Ghana for a 10-month trip to study traditional drumming, Afrobeat drum set style, and more. Your child can't always be expected to advance in a teaching system that is the same for everyone. We are as individual as our structural makeup.
