During my internship with Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center  and volunteer work with The Cavalier Music Enrichment Program (both based in Baltimore, Maryland), I have taught music to over 250 students. From general music theory to specific instruction in brass, woodwind, and percussion techniques; I have had the privilege to work with students of various ages, spanning from sixth graders to college students. I'm a music lover who has been studying music since I was in Middle School. It was around then that I both started taking private lessons and discovered my first John Coltrane Album. Starting the I began my my journey of listening to more and more jazz while studying classical music privately. In school I took part on any band I could concert band, jazz band, band and marching band, as well as extra ones like the Baltimore Youth Symphony and the Hood College Concert band. Read More

In 2009, Dan was selected as bass trombonist for the Carnegie Hall Orchestral Winds seminar where he collaborated with the principals from the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, and Philadelphia Orchestra. He has performed with professional ensembles such as Harrisburg Symphony, Waco Symphony Orchestra, and the Gaylen Jeter Jazz Orchestra.
