Originally from Thailand, I have performed in various professional and festival ensembles including around the world, including Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops, Arizona Opera, Ture Concord Voices and Orchestra, Akron Symphony Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Bangkok Opera and Philharmonic Winds (Singapore). I was a member of Spoleto Festival USA in 2016 and 2017, and, in 2015, I participated in Aspen Music Festival. I have earned honors and awards such as Winner of Concerto Competition at Texas Christian University, Cleveland State University, Winner of Rangsit University Solo Trombone Competition, and finalist American Trombone Workshop Division III Bass Trombone Solo Competition in 2015 and 2016. Sound is the most important aspect of trumpet playing, and the good thing is you can practice pretty much anything and still focus on your sound. For beginners I usually supplement their beginner band book with some simple drills from Schlossberg's Daily Drills or some I wrote myself. The main components of my lessons are tone, embouchure development, proper technique, articulation, and better understanding of how instrument works.
