That being said, a second pillar of my criteria is that my students always strive to create their sound in the most efficient and tension free manner. I also incorporate solo repertoire and encourage my students to take part in activities such as the IMEA Solo and Ensemble Competitions. Regardless of the students ability, teaching fundamentals of the instrument are my priority.
