For 23 years, I have taught instrumental music in the public schools in New York State, as well as private lessons. Although I teach all styles of music, at lessons, I focus on music of students choice. I have coached numerous rock bands at the local youth center. My passion is performing music and teaching others how to do the same. Most of my performance experience is on saxophone in the jazz, rock, blues, and pop genres. However, I also have a great passion for classical music and recorded a classical album titled Contrasts available on all streaming platforms. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching private saxophone, flute, and clarinet lessons. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves sharing my passion for music and inspiring students of all ages. In 2018 I graduated from the Manhattan School of School of music with a Masters degree and prior to that, I received a Bachelor of Music degree from Queens College. I have been lucky enough to perform in some of New York's Most prestigious classical music venues such as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall along with some of its most well known pop venues such as the Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall.
