For beginner students who are children, I usually use Faber and faber method series or the Alfred method series. All curriculum is based on age, so that it will help students learn at their own pace and level. Once the student gets to a certain point, I start adding in fun pieces that the child suggest, or might like, to add to what he or she is already learning. Once the student has worked in fundamentals and get a better understanding of the instrument, I will begin introducing solo repertoire appropriate for his or her level.
