I have always focused on teaching each student holistically. I hope to influence students in their discovery of music through various modalities of learning, including visual, auditory, proprio-kinesthitic (movement), with a special focus on audiation. As the child progresses, I add supplemental materials and more advanced performance pieces that may be used for recitals. When I began voice lessons as a child, my voice teacher immediately insisted that I also study piano, which I did through my Bachelor degree. I enjoy watching students find a sense of confidence through their music lessons, and strongly believe that skills are built through daily consistent practice. My style is a blend of fun and high standards. I am very gifted at motivating people to go beyond what they can achieve on their own in a fun way.
