Since then, I have had the opportunity to teach all sorts of people ranging from as young as 6 years old, to 64 years old. I started teaching privately in 2010, beginning with in home lessons. Since then I have taught in a private studio, working with students of all ages, levels, and musical sounds. There is no single definitive teaching method series. I try to tailor the method to the individual. For the beginning student, my personal favorite series is the Diller-Quaile because it offers a gradual and steady progression from basic to more complex. Also, the material presented is far more interesting than in most other collections.
