I have taught private trombone lessons while I was attending University of North Texas and taught trombone and piano for another private music company. I make sure to keep active on my trombone by playing in as many bands as possible and encourage my students to do the same. I have taught piano privately since I was a teenager and taught in both the private and the university setting. My main goal is to make sure my students love playing and learning piano. I use a combination of both classical and popular music to get my students excited about music and customize my teaching to best fit each unique student. Music has taken me to see places of the world I would have never been, music has given me some of the coolest jobs in my life. Playing organ for the San Jose Sharks NHL team was a dream come true, and I am still the youngest person to have held that job in the NHL. They still use all of my recordings. Hello! I have recently moved to the Philadelphia area to perform as the second flute and piccolo in the Philadelphia Ballet as well as other groups in the area. I hold three degrees in classical flute performance from accredited institutions where I have studied with flute greats such as Jim Walker, Marianne Gedigian, and Timothy Day, and have performed all over the country in various professional orchestras and in chamber and solo events.
