I have a syllabus that I am following base on the Music Teacher's Association syllabus in preparation for a Certificate of Merrit examination. I began teaching while at college, where I taught private lessons part-time in between classes and on weekends. Since moving to Los Angeles, I have been teaching several students through local music schools, as well as through online video lessons. I've also developed an online presence with social media, where i've been regularly uploading clips of my playing, and teaching those concepts to followers through transcription and in-depth analysis of my concepts and methods.I enjoy teaching students the things that inspire them the most to practice, whether it be a new guitar concept or even just learning a song they love! I started teaching in 2018, soon after moving to LA a few weeks after I graduated from Berklee College Of Music. I started out teaching at music schools, and would often have up to 30 students in a week. I would have weekly lessons with my students, prepare them for their annual recitals, and communicate with parents after their child's progress.
