My teaching experience dates back to my school days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 5 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

I love seeing people have a good time playing their instrument. I want to see students build their confidence from the very start of their musical journey. If playing is not fun from the very beginning I don't seen the point in playing. I like setting small goals in every lesson so that the student reaches new levels with every session without even realizing how far they have come. I treat every lesson differently as every person it different .I want to see you succeed and become successful with your instrument of choice! Read More

I like to take a very personalized approach to teaching and my methods can vary greatly depending on my students goals and interests. I think the most important aspect of learning the guitar is enjoying the process of practicing the instrument. Because of this, I base my lessons on what each individual student desires to learn, teach them concepts in the context of the music that they love, and give them the technical and theoretical concepts behind the music they're passionate about.
