I am a lifetime musician, dedicated to the authentic exploration of the creative self. I sing, write/compose, produce, play saxophone, piano, guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Music has led me to play all around the U.S., as well as Morocco and France. As a teacher, I focus on what the student wants to achieve. I implement sound technique(s) through an avenue that best suits the student. Not everyone wants to be a concert pianist, or even a performing musician, so our lessons would be tailored to your exact wants and needs. Read More

My style of teaching is personal and caring. Whether my students develop a desire to pursue music beyond our lessons, I care about their happiness and personal success in life. I at least hope to instill a strong understanding and enjoyment of music in each of my students which they can share with the people in their life. Read More

Therefore, I prefer briefly conversing with each student before choosing a distinct program. Read More

For the most part I start with warm up exercises to get your fingers moving properly, then have a balance of going through instruction books and jamming and/or improvising in different styles, and slowly progress you and help with techniques to make you sound as clean as possible. I will help you be able to play whatever genre, or songs you like. As well as how to tap into creative flow and be able to improvise and write original music. Read More
