When meeting a new student I like to take the time to know about them. Such as their Hobbies, what kind of music they like, what attracts them to the flute , what kind of future career they are interested in taking and what they hope to achieve from taking lessons. From there I can cater my teaching style to fit their needs. I have been teaching private lessons for over 8 years. Some of my students competed in state solo and ensemble competitions and received Gold and Silver awards. Other students have participated in recitals, music camps, and marching bands. Before I started giving lessons, I volunteered with a community group in Indiana called the Phillips Music Guild of Indianapolis.
