When I became more involved in instrumental studies and performance, I quickly wanted to help others achieve musical excellence through myself and my experience as a medium! I have been a leader in several musical groups throughout my schooling. I was section leader in my high school concert band, and was also named drum captain for my last two years in the drumline of the HPU marching band. I began teaching when I was halfway through college. I began teaching private students as well as drumlines at local high schools. I focus heavily on technique and self-expression in order to make music making as engaging and as fun as possible! I also incorporate real life scenarios into my lessons in order to better prepare my students for what they might encounter in live musical situations.
