My approach to teaching is to make it a fun and positive learning experience that they look forward to and stay inspired. Patience, encouragement and understanding of where the student is musically are crucial. I like to emphasize the idea that nothing happens overnight, only through effective practice and repetition. Having this mindset, they will no doubt see results in no time. I have had experience teaching at both the public school and university level, as well as through private lessons. I primarily teach piano, drum set, and percussion lessons through both in-home and online formats since 2019. Through my experience teaching these past four years, I have had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages (from 5 to 65 years old) and experience levels. I received my Bachelor's in Music Education from West Texas AM University in 2015 and my Masters in Percussion Performance from Texas Tech University in 2017. Throughout school, I was fortunate to have had opportunities to perform with various ensembles at the statewide and national levels.
