Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I believe in a gentle but firm approach to teaching. Also I will always meet my students where they are at individually and build them up from there. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" sort of method. I know discipline goes hand in hand with music, and the music doesn't come from the instrument but rather the musician. Part of my teaching method includes physical conditioning, I expect all of my students to care for their bodies as well as their instruments and I make no exception to this rule. Read More

I graduated from VCU in music Worked in Richmond while going to school in jazz clubs and with the Richmond Symphony. I moved to New York City where I played on countless Broadway Shows and Studio work playing commercials, Soundtracks and Movie scores as well as in countless bands, playing clubs like the China Club, CBGB"s The Bitter End and Radio City.The Shows I played while in NYC CATS, Les Miserables, Mama Mia, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar to name a few, I played on Tony award Winning Shows such as the revival of Cabert. I am a student at Old Dominion University with only 2 French classes to go to graduate. I was a first chair clarinetist in middle school. I am currently playing tenor and Alto saxophones,drums, flute, percussion, and singing through various projects. I am self taught on a very large variety of instruments such as violin, recorder, guitar, and cornet. My most unique instrument is the jaw harp of which I am a virtuoso. Read More

My teaching experience started when I first graduated High School. I started teaching competitive marching drumlines at the age of 17 and have continued to do so to this day.
