An emphasis on regularity and time management is essential to a student who wants to grow, so I assign realistic goals for each lesson. My lessons are most often dived into three parts: technical studies, etudes, and solos. I am a passionate music educator who loves working with instrumental students of all ages. In 2015, I graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education. During my time there, I participated in many ensembles and was awarded with several honors for my saxophone performance abilities. During this time, I also studied the oboe as my secondary instrument. In this role I was teaching in large group and one on one settings. In 2010 I was also hired to teach lessons for Boone County HS, another of the many NKY schools.
