As section leader in my band, I went to the local middle school to help their clarinet players learn and improve on a 1 on 1 basis. Although I did not choose to persue music as my full time career, it is my full time hobby. Since high school, I have continued to give private lessons. I am a dedicated and passionate music educator and clarinetist. I graduated with my Bachelors in music education from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2019. I received my masters in clarinet performance at The University of Texas at El Paso in 2022 and just started by DA in clarinet performance at the University of Northern Colorado. For beginning Clarinet lessons I start with the basics and fundamentals from assembling and disassembling the instrument along with proper cleaning, Storage and proper placement of fingers for playing and basic breathing techniques.
