I am currently enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado for a Doctor of Arts in Saxophone Performance with an emphasis in Jazz Pedagogy. I have performed in such venues as The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, The Texas Jazz Festival, the JEN Conference in Dallas, Texas, and the New Orleans Reggae Festival. For beginners, I usually work with the beginning band books that are established by the public schools they attend. If they arent in band yet, then I would start them on the Rubank Elementary Methods book for Bb clarinet. The Rubank methods are my go to for all levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
