This book teaches the most basic fundamentals all the way through advanced techniques while also giving the student a chance to learn more about music as a whole. No matter what age, any starting clarinetist needs to understand the fundamentals of the clarinet. Once these fundamentals are acquired, we move on to the basics of reading music and playing the clarinet such as learning the circle of fourths and practicing pieces of music that is from a certain major scale.
