I began teaching in 2009, with private students. The following year, I began working with non-profit organization, for two years, that brought music to at-risk and underprivileged children. After working with them, I began working with the Baton Rouge Arts Council, bringing music and music appreciation to elementary school class rooms for children and schools that did not have a music teacher, on staff. In 2010 I graduated from Evangel University with a Bachelors of Music Education degree with a concentration in strings. I have performed all over the U.S. in my collegiate touring orchestra and even had the opportunity to go to Europe and perform there as well. I began teaching about 4 years ago, I worked for TakeLessons in which I did both Online lessons and face-to-face. I pride myself in making my students succeed, I’ve had students start taking lessons with me starting in the lowest orchestra and after some months they are in the top orchestra and in a couple of occasions they were also first chair.
