I have experience with a wide-range of children and can accommodate a variety of cognitive and emotional needs. However, I do teach all ages. My youngest student was 4, and my oldest was 72. I use the Suzuki method for violin and the Alfred curriculum for piano. The Suzuki Method really focuses on the ability to train the ear first before reading music. I believe it is important to teach music reading skills as well as playing by ear.
