I have been teaching privately for twelve years, and I have many different styles of teaching. I focused all of my lessons on what the goals are, and what are in the students best interests. For students who are already in an instrumental program through school, I will start with whatever method book they are using at school, and branch off from there. Depending on the instrument, I will bring in another method book specific to that instrument book and we will also use some sort of etude book. My teaching style is student oriented meaning the more questions you bring me the better. I will allow students to learn at their own pace. For younger students I allow them to explor the instrument while showing them how to hold it and play. For older students I teach simple songs as well as scales and arpeggios. In June, 2019, on behalf of the Cleveland Orchestra, I had the honor of accepting an invitation to perform as a featured guest artist as part of the Cleveland Orchestra's Gourmet Matinee Series at the Blossom Music Center.
