My teaching style revolves heavily around what is happening with the mind and body while a student is learning. When teaching in a manner involving a “do, hear, see” process, for example, one can make the note, hear the note and then see how that note is noted. Trumpeter Andrew R. enjoys a varied career as performer and educator. A native of San Diego, CA, he now calls Los Angeles his home. My musicial experience started at the age of 7. This was the  beginning of my formal classical piano training.  In high school I stated learning more about the fundamental concepts of Jazz. While attending Cal State for three years I quickly developed and focused on arrangment and composition for all types of music.
