Most of my teaching time is spent in the classroom where I have taught music from pre-school through high school. I began my teaching career with seven years of teaching students with multiple handicaps and moved in 2001 to my current postion where I teach from pre-k through third grade. I currently also direct a middle school choir and our annual middle school musical. I was born in Newark New Jersey in 1948 and began a life long love affair with the Trumpet at the age of three and a half years old. By the age of twelve I was performing in local clubs and was exposed early on to Newark Jazz greats such as Sarah Vaughn, Wayne Shorter, Woody Shaw and Larry Young.
