I like to teach one on one with all age groups. I start beginners out on basic methods books to understand them instrument that they are holding and then slowly ease them into more challenging and sophisticated repertoire, including Rochut Etudes, Kopprasch Exercises, Blazhevich, and Blume. Simply put, I love music. I listen to music and make music and teach music in different styles, on different instruments, in different ways. I've recorded and performed on trombone, trumpet, bass, guitar, ukulele, tuba, and more. I've played with symphony orchestras in Carnegie Hall and with rock bands in Brooklyn basements. I began teaching trombone at Andys Music located in Livingston NJ in the early 2000s and later private in home instruction. I give the tools for the student to become a better player and to build confidence. If the student is participating in the schools music program I help them prepare for stage band performances or recitals.
