I started teaching private flute lessons to beginners in the Twin Cities area10 years agowhen I was in High School. I relocated to Duluth for college and continued my private teaching as I earned my degree in Music Education. Clarinet is my primary instrument, and I feel comfortable teaching all levels of clarinet students. Every student has different needs. I offer a relaxed style of teaching. Safe, comfortable evironment. Parents are always welcome to attend lessons for their students if need be. I have a student tell me what their goals are and we go from there. Some students may have a greater understanding of how the language on the page works.
