After leaving Florida State University, I traveled to Arizona to obtain my Master's Degree at Arizona State University. Here, I received full in and out of state tuition and was principal clarinet with the graduate Wind Sympony and the University Symphony Orchestra. While I was finishing my Master's Degree, I began teaching band and orchestra at an Elementary School, a Middle School, and then a High School. Every student has different needs. I offer a relaxed style of teaching. Safe, comfortable evironment. Parents are always welcome to attend lessons for their students if need be. I have a student tell me what their goals are and we go from there. Some students may have a greater understanding of how the language on the page works. Music has always been my greatest passion. I became a teacher so I could spread that passion to my students and watch them succeed at something that they love.
