I graduated with honors from the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for Arts and Technology in Petersburg, VA in 2005, and have a BFA in cello performance and music theory from Loyola University New Orleans. I have studied under Joel Krosnick, Tanya Anisimova, Neal Cary, Jason McComb, and Allen Nisbet, and have participated in masterclasses with Lynn Harrell, Clancy Newman, and Alisa Weilerstein, to name a few. I am a passionate and motivated teaching artist who enjoys working with children and adults. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music at Loyola University New Orleans in the fall of 2017. Performing chamber music, playing in Orchestra, and special events for weddings and corporate events have been an exciting part of my life as a musician. I've had the opportunity to perform for the Emmerson string Quartet, Degas String Quartet, and have been a part of many premieres such as an Opera Premiere entitled " The lions of reconstruction", and welcomed and played for the first lady of Haiti! My name is Riclebio S. I am a music teacher and a cello performer with an extensive experience in classical and praising worship music. Back in Brazil I attended the Federal University of Paraiba where I got my undergraduate degree with concentration in Music Education and Cello Performance. In 2016 I was awarded a scholarship from the Nicholls State University and studied cello and chamber music. I'm originally from Venezuela and I moved to the USA to continue my music studies at Louisiana State University where I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Cello Performance. I have been teaching cello both in Venezuela and in the United States. I currently work as a cello teacher at Palacios House of Arts, in Baton Rouge.
