Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. I am a passionate and motivated teaching artist who enjoys working with children and adults. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music at Loyola University New Orleans in the fall of 2017. Performing chamber music, playing in Orchestra, and special events for weddings and corporate events have been an exciting part of my life as a musician. I've had the opportunity to perform for the Emmerson string Quartet, Degas String Quartet, and have been a part of many premieres such as an Opera Premiere entitled " The lions of reconstruction", and welcomed and played for the first lady of Haiti! Other than what would be the general consensus of the standard cello repertoire, and a couple of technique books which I find to be incredibly useful with one area of pedagogy or another, I do not follow any of the current methods widely available to string players. It is my firm belief that it is the job of the teacher to be both adequately well versed and acutely attentive to each individual students' strengths, flaws, and the overall nuances of their playing style to be able to recommend appropriate literature, exercises, and music that is best suited for the student.
