As long as my student is motivated to learn I could not care less if they were the worst player on the planet; I will endure thick and thin to guide them to success. The motivation to become better and to strive for excellence is what I look for in my students. My experience dates back to high school, where I was given the opportunity to work at a summer band camp. This was the same band camp that I began my musical journey in. Here i was the Trumpet, theory and Marching band instructor. I utilized knowledge of music theory and trumpet knowledge to introduce students’ ages 6-17 to concepts, and basic musical rudiments. While working there, I gained a numerous amount of teaching techniques from other camp counselors on how to help the kids become more efficient in their learning. Read More
