In 2012, I graduated from The Peabody Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin performance with Ms.Violaine Melancon. I also earned a Masters of Music degree in Violin performance/Peadagody with Mr.Herbert Greenberg in 2012. Over the years, I have learned that each student is unique in how they learn and what they need. So I like to help each student learn in ways that are meaningful for them. I'll find the best methods for each student, and I believe that methods can be varied. For example, Suzuki Methods only can bring a beginner to medium level. After few year training with Suzuki, it is hard to make progressions on technique. However, Suzuki Methods can be a good fit for children under 10, because of the fun of study. Read More

As students progress at his/her own pace I try to keep them moving forward with realistic goals and encouragement. One important consideration I keep in mind is choosing the right music for each student according to developing skill levels. If the music is to easy, a student could become bored and unchallenged. Should the music become to difficult too soon, the student may become discouraged. Having said that, I will allow the student to try some "challenging" music, and allow them to progress and work up to a new level of playing. Read More
