Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I have completed my student teaching as a string specialist at Elkridge Landing Middle School and Elkridge Elementary School in Maryland. For beginning piano students, I tend to use the Alfred method books 1-3, then graduate to Hanon "the virtuoso pianist" I stress the "fundamentals" while adding solo repertory for enjoyment and solo playing. Simple piano pieces keep the lessons fun for beginners, while classical works are encouraged for intermediate and advanced students. For violin and viola, one of my choices is "All for Strings". I do add Mueller-Rusch books after the first year, and some solo pieces from the Suzuki methods. Read More
