I have taught private music lessons, since I was at Youngstown State University. I also assisted marching band camps over the summer time, at various high schools. I continue teaching private music lessons, to this day at my current job and online. I have recently taught, clarinet, piano, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone, as well as music recording online and in person. Having these core fundamentals down prepares my students to be able to play any style of music they choose. I believe that it's best to learn by example, and in music this is often by demonstrating with the instrument. I will always have my instrument out to play along, or demonstrate what I am expecting. I expect my students to practice what is assigned to them so we can both have a productive session with each other, however I do understand that life happens. My entire life, I have been dedicated to the study of music. From my early childhood education to present day gigs and songwriting, music has always been a centerpiece of my life. I have performed all around the world and am incredibly grateful for the learning experiences I have been blessed with.
