My first teaching was in summer music schools, then as an intermediate classroom teacher and music specialist (bands, choirs, musicals, folk dances, recorder, ukulele, classroom music and theory). I started out teaching beginning elementary students which sharpened up my skills for basic knowledge of the saxophone.
