I am a musician in the New York City area that enjoys advancing the art of music by performing and teaching it. I graduated from Hunter College in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Perfomance. I have had a lot of experience playing with big bands, orchestras, and small jazz combos in beautiful performance halls as well as smaller venues geared towards small bands. I began teaching oboe and piano lessons when I was in college at Ball State University, about 8 years ago, and have added the other instruments over the course of the last 5 years. I struggled with intense performance anxiety, and found that singing at open mics relieved some of the stress I felt when I played the oboe.
