He and I performed weekly during our time at GA State U. jazz dept. from the jazz department, as well as many stadium arena shows w Zac and the guys! From there I met the leaders of the Yacht Rock Revue and went on to perform w Yacht Rock Schooner (still perform with regularly) and later Electric Ave! All of which are “high-level”, professional, touring festival bands. I'm a driven and patient teacher with a deep desire to learn and to share knowledge. I've been performing on piano/guitar/saxophone/voice from a very early age and have continued to refine my craft. I've performed in numerous musicals throughout K12 eventually leading to my time at UGA where I received my Bachelors in Music. I started teaching Privately in 2007 and have continued off and on since. I have worked with students in Woodwind and Brass either privately or in a school setting. Also, I had the opportunity to work with multiple schools ensembles and marching bands. I encourage all of my students to maintain a constant practice schedule in order to work toward our goals. I am a passionate and motivated music educator who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated from Kentucky State University in 1980 with a BS Degree in Music Education.
