Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. I like to use Essential Elements for beginners, especially children. It's also helpful to use if the children are in an orchestra. I also like to work with the Suzuki method for those who are interested in doing it. It's important that I help beginners in how to get the best resonance and basic techniques to build confidence for performance or specific goal they have in mind.
