I have great appreciation for music and the art of teaching. I began teaching music at a very young age, and instantly knew that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After receiving my Associate degree, I began studying Music Education at Florida Atlantic University. Currently I am just a couple of semesters away from receiving my Bachelor of Music Education degree. My teaching experience is still in the early stages because of how busy I was during my school career at Seminole a State College with performing and schoolwork. During my three years at Seminole State, I performed with the guitar ensemble, the Jazz Band, a Jazz Vocal group, performed multiple recitals, played with a student led jazz quintet that gigged around the Sanford and Lake Mary area, and became the music theory tutor for the music program. Lehman College with a Master's (MAT) in Music Education.I taught Music at E.R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn NY and retired in 2011. I taught Music and the Arts at Touro College in Brooklyn NY from 2004-2018. I presently moved to South West Florida.
