I am a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Performing Arts where I studied Music Education. I also have a diploma in Piano Performance and Teaching from the Royal College of Music. I have been an instrumental instructor for the past 25 years, and enjoy sharing the joys of music with learners. I believe that learning to play an instrument should be an enjoyable experience. I encourage beginner students to learn basic theory to develop rudimentary skills. I then try to incorporate a student’s favorite music into the lesson plans.
