I first started music at a young age through my local church; my first instrument being flute. I studied flute for many years before taking formal voice lessons. This led me to become a voice performance major at the Manhattan School of Music, where I sang lead roles in and outside of the school. I'm a passionate and creative instructor who loves working with students of all ages and sharing my love of music. I graduated in 2012 from Indiana State University with Bachelor degree in Music Education. My primary instrument is the flute. I've played the flute for 14 years in various ensembles throughout the years. I've had great opportunities to work with children throughout my college years as well as beyond those years.
