My teaching experience began while in college in Annville-Cleona and Palmyra School Districts in college and then after graduating with my job in Maryland with Prince George's County Schools. Most of those experiences were with general music classroom teaching with some private band instrumental teaching and directing. I have a four-fold method system for teaching the flute based on tone, scales, etudes, and solo and orchestral repertoire. I take influence from many famous flute pedagogues including Moyse, Trevor Wye, Altes, and many others. I strive to include a blended mix of styles and eras of music as well as influences to keep students engaged. Read More
