Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Lessons are usually pretty casual. I like to use a book so that we always have a clear path. Students can request that their lessons be more vigorous (say if you're auditioning for a part or instrument for some activity) but otherwise, I tend to keep things more laid back. Read More
Instruments: Drums
Hearing someone practicing the drums can be down right annoying, especially for your household and neighbors. So my method helps the student practice with minimal resistance from parents, peers and siblings. Electronic drums are becoming popular but also reduce the excitement of acoustic drums and cymbals. So my method is open to all variations of modern "stick" drums. Lessons will be adjusted to what the student wants to do. I have books to recommend like "Syncopation" by Ted Reed and "Realist Rock" by Carmine Appice. Read More
Instruments: Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar, Conga, Electric Guitar, Djembe, Acoustic Guitar
I am able to asses the students current level of capability, understanding, and musical goals and tailor a curriculum to suit the specific needs and desires of the student. In terms of younger students who are first discvovering their interest in music, it is important to develop a basic foundation of understanding in terms of reading, writing, and communication with other musicians through the application of time tested teaching methods forcing the student to apply what they have learned in weekly "missions." For intermediate to advanced players, I'm able to help them to identify and subvert sticking points through the application of music theory, technique, and listening exercises as well as impart knowledge of the inner workings of music business and performance.
