Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Instruments: Piano, Drums, Djembe
As we work through the scales I'll have the student read short songs and excerpts from Hal Leonard's "Piano Adventures Performance" book. As the student grasps the fundamentals I will then assign level appropriate solo pieces for them to perform. Beginner drum students will follow the same model by starting with rudiments and the different pieces of the drum set/djembe. As they progress, I will teach them basic drum grooves in various styles (rock, pop, funk, latin, reggae etc.) that they can use in performance. Read More

If the students already had books from prior music instructor, we pick up from the last lessons after answering questions to make sure the students thoroughly understand the previous lessons from the previous chapters. For beginning students, I've used the Mel Bay's modern bass and guitar methods, James Bastien piano library, Essential Elements for wind instruments, Advanced Rock drumming and Master theory books by Charles S. Peters and Paul Yoder or any music books and online documents download by the the student. Read More
