Hi there, my name is Andres. I have been playing drums and percussion for 13 years. I studied music at Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, initially studying Drums and Latin Percussion, and eventually majoring in Orchestral Percussion. I have performed with most of Puerto Ricos major orchestras as well as with smaller percussion, jazz, latin and rock ensembles. Once we've established a basic working of character and music theory we will begin to learning the anatomy of our instruments and how to handle and care for them. Now the fun part begins. I typically use a book for the basis of reference, and then encourage the student to go beyond the notes on the page.
