For beginning students, we will spend a good amount of the first few lessons in developing core fundamentals. Once we have a solid foundation, I will start to add in some exercises. I believe all students can be successful, and each person develops at their own rate. I believe that anyone who begins taking music lessons should have a goal in mind, whether it is for the near or far future. Through my experiences there, I was able to perform across the state of North Carolina, as well as tours in South Carolina, Florida, and take part in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2014. I love teaching, and I do so with both encouragement and humor. I realize that not everyone can is able or willing to practice six hours a day, so I work with each student individually to find their pace. No matter what instrument I am teaching to a student, due to my years of experience, I have an extensive library of materials, methods, and literature that I can implement into my lessons. Read More
