My number one goal is to help my students accomplish their musical dreams, whether that be a classical pianist, a pop singer, the front person for a rock band, write songs or compose music for film, or just sing their favorite song of all time, whatever it takes, I will make sure that we get to the musical destination. I can't stress enough how important practice is. That being said, I do not encourage students to practice material that does not contribute to their goals and interests. That is why I sit down with students and them write out their own practice schedule. The topics on the schedule should relate they're interested in playing.
